Do my friends need the app to split a bill?
No. Anyone can open your claim link in a browser — iPhone, Android, or desktop — and tap the items they ate. iPhone users also get the native iOS + iMessage experience.
How do payments work?
CheckPlz is Zelle-style: when it's time to settle, the app shows the recipient's payment handle and the exact amount. Send it from your banking app, then mark it as paid. No funds flow through CheckPlz.
Can I use CheckPlz for non-restaurant expenses?
Yes. Create any group, add expenses, and split evenly or by item. Rent, groceries, road trips — all work the same way.
My claim link isn't working. What should I check?
Make sure the full URL was copied, including the slug after /split/. If the link still won't load, ask the organizer to generate a fresh link from the app.
